Virtual SIM Data Rollover and Roaming: A Perfect Combination for Travelers

For travelers, virtual SIM data rollover and roaming are the perfect combination to stay connected and avoid excessive expenses. Virtual SIM data rollover allows users to carry forward their unused data from one month to another, ensuring that they never run out of data on their travels. This feature is particularly beneficial for those who frequently travel but don’t always utilize their entire data allowance. With virtual SIM data rollover, travelers can accumulate their unused data and utilize it when they need it the most.

In addition to data rollover, the availability of roaming services makes virtual SIMs an ideal choice for travelers. Roaming allows users to use their virtual SIMs in different countries without incurring exorbitant charges or needing to purchase local SIM cards. This means that travelers can easily access data, make calls, and send messages while abroad, without the hassle of swapping SIM cards or worrying about high roaming fees. The convenience and cost-effectiveness of virtual SIM roaming empower travelers to stay connected and enjoy seamless communication, no matter where their journeys take them.

Compatibility and Availability: Ensuring Virtual

In today’s fast-paced, digital world, compatibility and availability are key factors that determine the success and usability of any virtual service. When it comes to virtual SIM data rollover and roaming, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of devices is crucial. Travelers rely on their smartphones, tablets, and other connected devices to stay connected throughout their journeys. Therefore, it is essential for virtual SIM providers to ensure cross-device compatibility to cater to the diverse needs and preferences of global travelers. By supporting a variety of devices and operating systems, virtual SIM providers can give travelers the freedom to use their preferred devices and enjoy uninterrupted connectivity wherever they go.

Availability is another critical aspect that plays a vital role in the virtual SIM ecosystem. Travelers often find themselves in remote areas or exploring off-the-beaten-path destinations, where traditional cellular networks may be limited or non-existent. Virtual SIM providers need to ensure extensive coverage and availability in these areas to meet the connectivity needs of their users. By partnering with local and international network operators, virtual SIM providers can expand their coverage footprint and offer reliable connectivity even in the most challenging environments. Ensuring seamless connectivity around the globe gives travelers peace of mind and allows them to truly explore and experience the world without worrying about losing access to essential services.

How can I reinstall a deleted eSIM or reinstall an existing eSIM in my new phone?

If you delete your eSIM from YOverse or lose your device, you cannot reinstall it, so if you plan to buy another plan at a later date, you will need to pay the activation fee of $0.70 Euro (which covers your eSIM for 1 year) again and reinstall a new eSIM.

How can I delete an eSIM from my phone?

If you wish, you can manually remove your eSIM. To remove your eSIM follow these steps:

Go to Settings

  • Tap Mobile data or Mobile data

    • Tap your mobile plan

    • Tap “Remove mobile plan”

If you remove your eSIM you will no longer be able to connect through this line. Any contacts you have associated with this line will default to your preferred line.

How can I allow data switching between my plans? [Advanced users]

To allow your phone to automatically select which SIM to use data from based on coverage and availability, turn on “Allow mobile data switching” in your settings. Note that if you are roaming and only want to use your YOverse eSIM or data, you should then make sure that “Allow mobile data switching” is turned off. If “Allow mobile data switching” is turned on, your phone will automatically use data from both phone plans, depending on which network is strongest at any given moment. This option is best for people who want to stay connected no matter what. There is no way to know which plan is being used at any given time, however, so this option can consume data quickly if you are not aware of it. To turn on Allow mobile data switching, follow these steps (steps may vary depending on phone model):

  • Go to Settings

  • Tap either Cellular or Mobile Data.

  • Tap Mobile Data.

    • Turn on Allow Mobile Data Switching

Your data line automatically switches for the duration of your call. Mobile data switching will not work if you are currently roaming and both eSIMs are not set to allow data roaming. Check with your provider for availability and to find out if additional charges apply.

How do I see how much data is left on my plan?

You are able to see it in the application in the “My eSIM” bubble; click on the data plan under “Active Data Plans” to view its remaining data. Once your data runs out, you will no longer have an internet connection without Wi-Fi.
